Hi there. I'm the author of Treetops, a young adult fantasy novel as well as the short story collection The Forever Stone & Other Tales. When I'm not writing, I'm a reference and instruction librarian at a college in Minnesota that is overrun with cougars. I live with my wife and furry dog in a very small town and believe that the world, on average, is a far better place with more nature in it, not less.
I enjoy biking, tennis, pickleball, hiking, playing board games (you can never have too many), reading, and pretending I can make music.
The most influential books in my life have been The Chronicles of Thomas Covenant by Stephen R Donaldson, Childhood's End by Arthur C Clarke, and The Power of Myth by Joseph Campbell.
